Our new project...

We are working on our classroom garden.

On Friday we put sunflower seeds into potting mix in a small pot.

Today Zak and Caden put on masks before they added compost to our garden in readiness for planting.

Friday Fun!

Thank you to Shenna for bringing in your diving equipment today.  We had great fun trying it all on!

 Check out the cool patterns that the rock salt and food colouring made in this big ball of ice.  We know that ice is always cold!

 We had lots of fun making our hair stand up by using balloons to make static electricity!

Welcome to Holly who starts school on Tuesday.

We know you will enjoy being a school girl.

We are amazing!

Today we tried really hard to use our whole body listening skills.  This means making sure our feet and arms are nice and still, our eyes are looking and our ears are listening when it is mat time.

We were amazing!  

It really helped make sure we were ready to learn!

 Making bird feeders and hanging them in the trees was lots of fun!  Now we will wait and see if the birds can find them to enjoy!

We are experimenting with our hands and corks to make prints.

Friday Discovery

A huge thank you to Lachlan and his mum Shenna for bringing in the magnificent shell collection today!  We really loved feeling and looking at all the different shells from around New Zealand and looking at the videos on the I pad.

Another popular choice at discovery time today was making creatures with the playdough by adding pipe-cleaners, paper, toothpicks and wobbly eyes. Check out some of these scary looking monsters!

Wednesday at the Pool and Gym.

We are loving getting on the bus to go to the Dudley Pool.

We start our lessons at 12.30 and swim until 1.30.

Do come in to see us. 

Our instructors are teaching us a lot of new things to do in the water.

Next we head off to the gym.

The coaches there are showing us how to use, and keep  safe on the equipment.

We really have to listen well on a Wednesday afternoon.

We arrive at the gym at 1.45 p.m.

We hope to see you there too.
