Screwdrivers, sand, fossils and more...

Out came the screwdrivers and pliers this morning.
We have started to take old computer parts to bits.
We are challenged to use the screwdrivers correctly.
It is a slow process and we love it.
This is all good for our hand eye coordination and fine motor skills.

Old shoe boxes came in handy today when we created our own dinosaur world.
We used sand, fabric pieces, plants and bark.
Some of us will add dinosaurs when we get home.
This was very popular.

As always we helped each other and shared.
Great team work again.
Later we shared a poem.

Holly knew a lot about Palaeontologists.
She shared her book with us that showed them at work.
Then it was our turn to search for fossils!

Here we are at work carefully using our toothpicks
to extract chocolate chips from our biscuits!
It was a slow and careful process.

Once we has lined up our "fossils" we counted
and recorded how many before we "ate our fossils".
